Crystallization Challenges and Opportunities in Hydrometallurgy
Prof. Dr. Kerstin Forsberg
Department of Chemical Engineering, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden
Kerstin Forsberg is professor in chemical engineering with expertise in separation processes, in particular crystallization. Forsberg is devoted to educating students and contributing to the field of hydrometallurgy and chemical engineering. She often applies her knowledge to develop more energy and resource efficient processes for material recovery from primary and secondary resources. She has published more than 50 publications in peer reviewed journals. She is the current chair of the Hydrometallurgy and Electrometallurgy Committee within The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) and member of the editorial team of the journal Sustainable Materials and Technologies (SM&T).
