WTE as integrated part of circular economy
Prof. dr Goran Vujić, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Science, SERBIA
Prof. Dr. Goran Vujić is a full professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad on Department of Environmental Protection and Occupational Safety Engineering. His research includes circular economy, waste management, sustainable development, waste analysis and treatment, multi-criteria decision-making methods, development of waste management systems, impact assessment, etc. In the field of scientific research and professional work, Prof. Dr. Goran Vujić achieved exceptional results in the complex and specific scientific field of environmental protection engineering research. As an author and co-author, he has published more than 80 scientific papers in international and national journals and conferences. Also, Prof. Dr. Goran Vujić participated in several international and national projects such as TEMPUS, IPA, ERASMUS+, INTERREG and many national scientific projects funded by national, regional and local authorities. In his previous professional work, he was engaged in more than 40 national and international projects in the field of waste management, including consulting as a short-term waste management expert with GIZ, CCEC, SCS, US EPA, etc. Dr. Goran Vujić is the Executive Director of the Association for Solid Waste Management in Serbia, and since 2019 he has also been the Director of the Center of Excellence for Circular Economy and Climate Change d.o.o.
