Dr. Fardis Nakhaei

Dr. Fardis Nakhaei received a Ph.D. degree of mineral processing from Department of Mining & Metallurgical Engineering, Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran in 2018 and currently is a post-doctoral research fellow at the School of Chemical and Minerals Engineering, North West University, South Africa. His research activity concerns the modeling and control of the mineral processing processes. His recent research is focused on the coal washability analysis using 3D image-based methods. During his research, he has published over fifty papers in international peer-reviewed journals, two books, and more than fifty papers at national and international conferences. The publications have been cited 450 times by other scholars.

Dr. Ivana Jovanović

Dr. Ivana Jovanović received a Ph.D. degree of mining, from Department of Computer Science and Systems Engineering, Faculty of Mining and Geology, Belgrade. Currently is employed at the Mining and Metallurgy Institute Bor. As a part of her research work, she is engaged in testing, development and application of mineral processing technologies and participated in the design of more than 30 projects and other technical-technological documentation in the field of mining. During her scientific research work she was mostly engaged in the flotation system mathematical modeling, based on soft computing techniques. She has published more than 150 scientific and professional publications in national and international journals and conferences.
